March:
Battle of the Brackets Challenge; Venmo @BvBDC to make a $20 donation. After your donation is submitted, download the ESPN Tournament Challenge app and search BVBDC. Multiple entries are accepted and will give you more changes to win! Prizes will be awarded to 1st-3rd places winners. Prizes will be awarded based upon the number of entries.*
31 – RivALZ BvB DC Meet Up – 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Dudley’s Sport and Ale (2766 S Arlington Mill Drive, Arlington, VA 22304) Come meet RivALZ BVB DC Players, Coaches, and Volunteers! Learn more about how you can get involved. Let us know you’ll make it by registering here.
April:
12 – Kickoff: Skills Camp, Scrimmage and Drinks; 6:30p.m., Long Bridge Park (475 Long Bridge Drive, Arlington, VA 22202). Join us for an introduction to RivALZ BvB and skills camp for flag football. No experience needed! Followed by drinks and food at Crystal City Sports Pub (529 23rd St S, Arlington, VA 22202). Let us know you’ll make it by registering here.
May:
13 – RivALZ BvB DC Mixer; 7:00p.m., Sudhouse DC (1340 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009). Hang out with both Team Blonde and Team Brunette as we look forward to Game Day 2022! Sudhouse DC will be provide 10% of the proceeds back to the Alzheimer’s Association. All are welcome! Let us know you’ll make it by registering here.
21 – Spring Fling Charity Cornhole Tournament Benefiting Alzheimer’s Association; 12:00p.m. Samuel Beckett’s Irish Gastro Pub (2800 S Randolph St #110, Arlington, VA 22206). Registration is required – follow the link here.
June:
9 – #endALZ Karaoke Night; 6:00p.m., Ireland’s Four Courts (2051 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA, 22201). Bring your friends, co-workers, and family out for an evening of karaoke, drinks, and food to support the fight against Alzheimer’s! Let us know you’ll make it by registering here.
18 – RivALZ BvB DC Game Day 2022; 1:00p.m., Washington-Liberty High School (1301 N Stafford St, Arlington, VA 22201). Come watch Team Blonde and Team Brunette face off in our annual flag football game to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. A suggested $25 donation to the player or team of your choice gets you into the game.
October:
8 – Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Washington, DC; Volunteer opportunity with the National Capital Area Chapter. More details to come.
